About NICA

Culture as a force for unity, opportunity and pride.

The Nigerian International Cultural Alliance is a cultural advocacy and empowerment platform committed to preserving, promoting and celebrating Nigeria's rich heritage — and inspiring the next generation to become its custodians.

Our Story

A movement rooted in heritage.

Nigeria is one of Africa's most culturally diverse nations, with over 250 ethnic groups and hundreds of indigenous languages. Yet in an era of rapid globalization, many cultural practices face the challenge of diminishing awareness among younger generations.

NICA was founded to revive cultural consciousness, showcase excellence, and strengthen Nigeria's identity through celebration, education and engagement. Through innovative programs, pageantry, exhibitions and community outreach, we inspire pride in our traditions and empower the next generation to carry them forward.

We build bridges across ethnic, religious and social divides through culture, creativity and shared national values.
